Why It Matters

When Black Businesses Grow, Communities Grow With Them.

Black-owned businesses create jobs, build wealth, introduce new ideas, serve communities, and contribute to the economic vitality of the Greater Washington region.
Yet sustainable business growth requires more than ambition. Entrepreneurs need access to relationships, capital, customers, contracts, knowledge, and opportunities to scale.
That is the work of the Greater Washington Black Chamber of Commerce.
Through business development programs, strategic partnerships, advocacy, procurement opportunities, executive programming, and ecosystem-building, GWBCC helps entrepreneurs move from starting businesses to building enduring enterprises.

Supporting The Art of Black Business means investing in that work.
